We were pleased to welcome Paul & Jean (Miller) Mariner from Albuquerque, NM to the museum today. Jean is a descendant of Rensselaer & Rachael Livingston, founders of Crestline. She was kind enough to bring us more family artifacts to add to our collection and stayed for an extensive tour of the museum. Many thanks to Paul & Jean for taking the time to visit!

More old time Crestline businesses. Isn't it incredible how busy & successful the town was? The downsizing started when the railroad dieselized, the roundhouse closed so the jobs left. There were many precipitating factors to this change. It's a sad story repeated throughout the country over the years.
