Daniel was born into an artistic family, his father Charles Began blowing art glass in his backyard in 1970. Daniel was always encouraged to express his creative energies and by the age of 14 he apprenticed in the family glass studio. Daniel was inspired working along his fathers side, watching him create what he envisioned in his mind, bringing the beauty to glass. As his skills grew so did his c

ommitment to creating beautiful art. Daniels inspiration now is creating new lighting and chandeliers from new colors to new floral's. Daniel is always researching new designs, new color formulations, and personally executing those ideas to keep his art progressive. A Constant throughout his career and his work, is the inspiration he derives from nature. Examination of any Daniel Lotton Art Glass pieces from paperweight and perfume bottles to bowls, vases, lamps and chandeliers will inevitably communicate his desire to emulate the Masters Great Hand in every laboring creation.
