So this is what I'm up to! I'll be teaching a ceramics and culture class covering prehistoric ceramics from around the world and teaching basic hand building methods. Its a great class for pottery beginners and archaeology fans!

Bowl of the day: a stack of porcelain cups and bowls that I'm taking home to photograph tonight. I have a thing about making stacks and piles of pottery. I want to to fill a whole room with stacks of pottery and watch how people interact with them. Will they pick them up? Rearrange the piles? Line them up? Make one giant stack? If I have food and drinks available will people pick up a piece and use it? Why that piece?
