We are in the final week of the exhibit! You don't want to miss Dr. Redhead's lecture Tuesday night on the role of agriculture as it relates to the Cotton Mills in Southwest Georgia. The lecture will be at the Maloof Building Tuesday, October 11, at 5pm. The museum is open this week on Monday from 10 am to 1 pm and Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm. Don't miss it!

The second lecture in this series is coming up on Tuesday, October 11 at 5 pm at the Maloof Building in downtown Cuthbert. The speaker will be Dr. Adam Redhead, Program Director/Assistant Professor of Sustainable Agriculture at Andrew College. He will discuss the role of agriculture as it relates to the Cotton Mills in Southwest Georgia. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.

RESCHEDULED! Out of an abundance of caution regarding the unpredictable weather, we have decided to move the upcoming lecture with Dr. Adam Redhead to Tuesday, October 11, at 5 pm at the Maloof Event Center in downtown Cuthbert. We look forward to seeing everyone for the lecture, special music, and refreshments on the new date.

We were so fortunate to host the exhibit here in Cuthbert before the COVID-19 virus became a threat. Our hearts go out to the scheduled stop after us, Summerville, who are not able to keep the exhibit open. Everyone, stay safe.

We recognized our Smithsonian Exhibit docents, exhibitors and sponsors last night at a reception. We couldn't have done it without you! What can we all do next for our community?

And the exhibit is no longer. So sad to see it go, but proud that it was here. Thanks, again, to Diverse Power for taking the exhibit down. Next stop, the Train Depot in Summerville, GA. March 7 to April 18!

Okay folks the Smithsonian Exhibit is coming to a close. Tomorrow is the LAST day - I know we can’t believe it either!!!
