This week at Bleu Gallery, we’re celebrating the artists bold enough to share their work in progress—the sketches, strokes, and sculptures that are still in progress. Some are painting live, some are shaping with their hands, some are out in the field, and all are letting you peek behind the curtain.

Bleu Gallery is nestled in the heart of historic Dahlonega, GA, a mountain town alive with art, music, and charm. As August rolls in and back-to-school season ramps up, the town is buzzing. The rivers and streams are full of tubers and kayakers, while the town square is gearing up for another busy August!

Dahlonega has become a favorite day-trip destination for wine, weddings, waterfalls—and of course, art. And the art you’ll find here is refreshingly affordable compared to the big city galleries in Atlanta, Miami, or NYC.

Come sip a glass of wine from 2 of our in-house bars, Sips at Bleu and Naturally Georgia while taking in a rare look at the artistic process in real time. We covet our authentic and hard working artists.

This week’s featured works in progress include:
• Kristin Sarkar: Equine photography
• Alexandra Sexton: Sculpture
• Mary K Matelski: Fluid acrylics
• Carolyn Morgan: Amalfi Coast, oil on 16x20 canvas
• Charles Caldwell: Acrylics on 4x6’ canvas
• Carol Vey: Acrylics on 60x48” canvas
• Mike Miller: Moby Duck

Come be moved. Come sip. Come see what makes Bleu Gallery unforgettable.

Bleu Gallery is proud to be part of the vibrant and historic mountain town of Dahlonega, GA—especially this week as Hallmark’s Christmas in a Small Town festivities take center stage. While the mountain streams are alive with tubers, kayakers, and canoers, the town square is bustling with fans meeting their favorite Hallmark stars and soaking up the holiday spirit in July.

As always, Dahlonega is a favorite destination for day trips and weekend getaways, full of wine tastings, weddings, waterfalls—and of course, art. Art at Bleu Gallery is not only original and expressive, but also far more affordable than what you’ll find in larger galleries in Atlanta, Miami, or NYC.

Come be touched by the work, sip something special at our in-house wine bar, and meet the artists making magic in real time.
