Makers Monday!

Last year I came up with an idea to make a canopy cart. I want to be able to take it off my truck by myself. I can’t always wait for the kids to get home to help!

I have put alot of thought into it. I am also a disabled veteran so I have to do things differently anyway.

I also want to be able to move it around and not just sit on a few saw horses in the way.

I have started cutting boards and getting some painted a few days ago.

Today I started the assembly process and working on stabilizing ideas so I don’t have to leave the cart assembled when not in use.

I have a few more ideas to incorporate and then paint.
Happy with the progress so far and can’t wait to try it out!
Nice to see my ideas come to life!!

I use a lot of recycled material in my builds if your wondering about the holes😁

Trying to show the size of this piece is a little hard to do with this lighting!!
This door is a few months in the making. The first door only took a couple months to complete. This order has been with me for a few of the hardest times in my life.
I have went through an ear surgery, a knee surgery, the other knee getting hurt, my dog of 8 short years had to be put down, and my mom passed away from lung cancer.
When you go through pain, loss and grief it makes it hard to sit and create at times.
Art saves me on a daily basis so for me to not create something is very hard for me. It bring me to tears to think of the grief of these last few months.

The couple has been absolutely amazing and completely patient. I know that they have helped me through my time of grieving with their words of encouragement.

I know they will enjoy these doors for many years and that warms my heart!!
