Even the Millennium Falcon cockpit has real-world roots. Its design was inspired by the iconic window design of the B-29 Superfortress.

The I Hart Flying Foundation has just launched its 2026 national scholarship cycle—and it’s a big one. ✈️

More than $20,000 in flight training funding, pilot equipment, and mentorship is up for grabs through the “Access Granted: Runway to Rise” initiative. This program is designed to help aspiring female pilots start, continue, and complete their aviation journey without financial roadblocks.

📊 Did you know? Women make up less than 6% of pilots globally—programs like this are working to change that by building a stronger, more inclusive aviation workforce.
