A survey of the last 25 years of the artist’s five-decade career, 'Nic Nicosia: Everyday Surreal' reveals the material and conceptual evolution of one of the city’s most important living artists. The exhibition will feature over 70 three-dimensional works, drawings, photographs, and films made since his mid-career survey in 1999–2000.⁠

In the artist’s first major museum survey in more than a decade, Rashid Johnson: A Poem for Deep Thinkers brings together nearly 90 works to trace "Johnson’s trajectory from his early experiments in photography and video to his recent materially complex paintings and assemblages." Highlights of the exhibition include a site-specific installation, an outdoor sculpture, and two works activated through live performance.⁠

"Then you sort of get socialized out of it because you start worrying about whether it looks real or what's correct and things like that. People just start becoming sort of conscious of what they're doing. I think I just never went through that part. And I just kept making."⁠
