Love seeing my artwork displayed in your homes and spaces!

Have you ever wondered about the “golden rules” for hanging art?

Here are my tips to follow, no mater the size:
- Leave a gap of 4-10” between the top of the console (or other furniture piece) and the bottom of frame. This gap creates a visual connection between the artwork and furniture so they appear as a cohesive arrangement. This rule is flexible based on the scale of artwork and wall.

- The width of your artwork should be about 2/3 of the piece it’s hanging above. This allows for the space to feel full and complete, tying everything together.

- The middle of the painting should land approximately 60” from the floor to naturally draw one’s attention. 60” is the average eye level of a person.

- When in doubt, go bigger. Large artwork can ground a room and set the tone for your space.

And remember that these are flexible guidelines and it’s okay to follow your instincts! Feel free to send me a DM if you ever have questions when designing your space.
