I have been working on a new series of cheeky 🍑 containers and projectors of light . This WIP piece is illuminated from the skylight above; loving the cast of color on the white surface below. I look forward to sharing the finished piece with y’all

NOW OPEN at MOCA North Miami (( )) through Oct. 1, as apart of the group show “South Florida Cultural Consortium.”

Exploring memory, q***r identity, community, and sexuality through abstract figurative ceramic forms situated in a constructed portion of a bar. The totality of the installation is rendered in textural paint washes, in homage to Bernard Perlin’s painting “The Bar” (1957).
