✨Artist Spotlight: Kim Schur✨

Sometimes, the next chapter finds you when you least expect it. 🤍

After a career as a Doctor of Audiology and Regional Director of a local nonprofit serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, **Kim Schur** entered retirement looking for a new, tactile way to express her creativity.

Then came one pottery class—and everything clicked. 🏺

What started as a serendipitous experience quickly became a passion, taking Kim through local studios, Broward College, and eventually to Gasper Arts Center, where she found not only a place to create, but an extended family of fellow artists.

For Kim, art has always been part of her life, but pottery opened the door to a whole new way of expressing herself, connecting with others, and continuing to learn.

We’re so happy to have Kim as part of our creative community. 💜
