Our May Spotlight Artist is Stephanie Ada’s of Pickle Pottery.

Stephanie “creates functional ceramics that celebrate the quiet presence of animals in our everyday lives. Each piece is wheel thrown and decorated by hand, allowing the imagery to remain spontaneous and personal, rather then repeated or mass produced. (She’s) drawn to animals for their symbolism, humor, and emotional resonance, and uses them to capture character and small moments. (Her) pottery is meant to be held, used and lived with. (Her) work balances utility and narrative by pairing familiar forms with hand painted imagery, (she) invites a sense of connection and warmth into daily rituals. These pieces are meant to be approachable, offering both function and a gentle reminder of our shared relationship with the natural world.
