Don’t forget to drop in at the Boldman House this Saturday, the 23rd, during Dayton Days, 11:00-2:00 pm, for good old-fashioned sweet cream butter churning (with fresh homemade bread to eat it with!), rope-making, wheat and corn and coffee-grinding (hand-crank!), 19th-century games, down-home laundry on the wash board, and antique tool demos! Free for everyone (donations accepted!). Enjoy the vintage gardens in bloom and have a fun old time! See you after the parade!

We used to have three drug stores in Dayton, including our own Elk Drug, which has endured the ages. Come by and see this Boldman drug display, and all the time-traveling artifacts from the life of this one (very interesting) pioneer farm family.

We move to Summer Hours next week: Thursday-Saturday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Cheers!

A big thank you to Karen Heinzman of Signs DeSigns in Walla Walla for a beautiful refurbish of our front yard sign. Take a close look at the sign in front of the house, and you can see in the sign’s display frame a repeat of the 2nd floor balcony scroll design framework.
