Maple season will be here soon!

Join us Saturday, February 28, for Lecture: Maple Sugaring in New England with UNH Extension Forester Steven Roberge.

From steel buckets and oxen-drawn wagons to the advanced technology used today, maple syrup production has changed considerably over time. But one thing has remained constant— maple trees and their sweet sap. Join Steven Roberge, University of New Hampshire’s State Extension Forester, to learn about the history, production, and biology of maple sugaring.

Admission is free for New Hampshire Historical Society members, $10 for nonmembers. No registration required.

✨ Step right up, ladies and gentlemen! ✨

The Deerfield Historical Society is hitting the big time—we’ve been chosen to participate in Charitable Gaming this spring! Think bright lights, ringing bells, and that unmistakable ding-ding-ding of Lady Luck smiling your way.

Mark your calendars and try your luck at Aces & Eights Casino, where the machines are humming and the excitement is high. Every spin helps support Deerfield history—now that’s a payoff worth pulling the lever for.

And hold onto your hats, folks…
A Harley Davidson motorcycle is up for grabs! One lucky spin could have you riding off like a true Vegas headliner.

Big lights. Big fun. A mighty good cause.
So polish up your lucky penny and join us—because this spring, history is playing the machines and hitting the jackpot!
