Who loves FREE PARKING? We do and we hope you do too.

On Saturday May 30th, 2026, Memorial Hall Museum is opening our most ambitious exhibit ever, titled “Brewing Massachusetts: How Beer Shaped the Bay State.”

This exhibit will be held at the Indian House Memorial, located at 107 Old Main Street, Deerfield, MA. The Indian House Memorial is a replica of a real Revolutionary era tavern owned by a local Tory supporter, David Hoyt during the Revolution. Street parking is available but we have free parking in the back lot behind the exhibit, adjacent to the Bloody Brook Tavern. If you like a nice walk, we are a 10 minute stroll fron Memorial Hall Museum and they ALSO have free parking. 🚙

Tickets to the exhibit will be $5 or free for PVMA members, students, and Deerfield Residents.

See you soon!

Did you vote for the Hampshire Gazette’s Reader’s Choice Awards?

If you think Memorial Hall is the best museum in the Pioneer Valley (and we’re pretty sure you do!) show your support and vote for Memorial Hall now.

https://gazettenet.com/readers-choice-2026/

Voting is open until June 5. Let everyone know that the oldest museum in the valley (yes, Memorial Hall) is also the best!

What do these four buildings have in common?

A. George Washington slept there
B. They were all built in 1776
C. They’re all haunted
D. They’re all places you can (and should) visit on our Brewing the Revolution Scavenger Hunt

The correct answer is…D (and possibly C, we’re not totally sure about ghosts).

When our scavenger hunt kicks off on Sunday, stop by these incredible taverns in your quest to collect points and win some of our $3,000 in prizes! It’s free to play. Sign up now: https://memorialhalldeerfield.org/tc-events/brewing-the-revolution-scavenger-hunt/

Special thanks to our friends at Williams Boltwood Project, Parker Tavern, and Golden Ball Tavern Museum. Be sure to visit all three and scan the QR codes to check in!
