The Historic Daniel Boone Home and Heritage Center features the home of the legendary hero, Daniel Boone. The four story Georgian style mansion was built overlooking the Femme Osage Valley. Today it looks down to the Boonefield Village which is comprised of over a dozen 19th century buildings that have been moved to the site. These buildings include: the Zephaniah Sappington/John Dressel Home, the

Squire Boone Home, the Flanders Callaway Home, the Newton Howell Home, the Stake Home, the Benedict Warmbrodt Home, the school house, carpenter’s shop, grist mill, and the Old Peace Chapel. The Boone Home and Boonefield Village offer a glimpse into life on the Missouri frontier. Pricing for guided tours of the Daniel Boone Home:

Artisan Day: Faces of America 250 at The Historic Daniel Boone Home!

Encounter stories of the Revolutionary War on the Western front—how did this national event impact those living in Spanish and French territory? Meet with various characters from Missouri’s side of the conflict and learn about colonial lifeways in our region.

➡ June Session Highlights:
Meet Spanish militia members, learn about the Chickasaw Nation, hear stories from the Battle of St. Louis, and watch craftspeople create band boxes. Enjoy traditional music and more throughout your visit!

Join us the second Thursday of each month, June–August. Presented in partnership with the St. Charles County Historical Society, this free program is open to all ages. Kids can also complete a scavenger hunt for a special prize! For more information, call 636-798-2005.

Join us for a guided tour at The Historic Daniel Boone Home and experience life on the early American frontier.

📅 Tour Dates: June 6, July 11 and Aug. 1
🕘 Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Explore the lives of Daniel and Rebecca Boone through engaging storytelling and authentic artifacts—including original weapons and gear from the French and Indian War and Revolutionary War. Discover the challenges, resilience, and legacy of their 56-year partnership and the role they played in shaping Missouri’s history.

Admission to the Boone Home is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors ages 60 and up, and $5 for children ages 5–12. Active and retired military and children 4 and under are free. For more information, call the Boone Home at 636-798-2005.

Discover the frontier in new and exciting ways! Campers travel back in time to 1830s Missouri to “learn by doing” during this weeklong camp. Campers take part in hands-on activities centered around fiber, fire and food. Each camper will contribute to projects that benefit the site, as well as create take-home projects throughout the week. Campers must bring a sack lunch each day. Cost is $150 per person. Pre-registration is required.

Join us for a day of homeschool learning at the Boone Home! Explore demonstration stations and hands-on activities like music, black powder, fire starting, frontier games, woodworking and more throughout the village. Attendees can visit The Historic Daniel Boone Home as well.

Adults and children age 4 and up can register for a 9 a.m.-noon session or a 1-4 p.m. session for $5 per person. Children under age 4 are free and do not need to register. Pre-registration is required.

With ticketed admission, guests 21 years and older are invited to try samples from local homebrewers and breweries. Visit with homebrew clubs and learn more about the process of making beer, and the historical importance of fermentation as a preservative before refrigeration. Concessions will be on-site and live music will be playing all afternoon as you enjoy the scenic historic village setting. Free designated driver tickets are available and include a ticket to tour the Boone Home.

Head out to The Historic Daniel Boone Home for Artisan Day!

Tour The Historic Daniel Boone Home free of charge on the second Thursday from March until November! All ages are welcome and admission is first-come, first-served. Tours are open-house format, allowing guests to explore all levels of the house and speak with docents about the Boone family and the history of the Femme Osage Valley.
