NIU Alum here:) my sculpture is in Geneva IL.

Be sure to check out this year's Terrain Biennial featuring several NIU alum and professors.

Terrain Biennial is a grassroots public art festival that brings artists and neighbors together to put public art on the front lawns ( porches, windows, and rooftops, too!) of neighborhoods across the world.

This year, artists responded to the theme DIY.

From crafting to painting, mending to stitching, construction to recycling, artists are resourceful, performing science and alchemy with time and material. DIY is a core value of the Chicagoland art community, with apartment galleries, DIY shows, makerspaces, and lending libraries as key resource hubs for artists.

What an unbelievable opportunity and experience getting to create this beautiful sculpture for the Glenview Community Ice Center. With the collaboration of Bader Art Metal, truly gifted in the engineering and crafting of metal. This beauty was installed back in July 2020.
