The Museum of Art - DeLand, Florida is an interactive non-profit community visual arts museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, study, exhibition, and educational use of the fine arts, serving as a cultural focus for Central Florida and beyond. The Museum of Art – DeLand is a vital and interactive 501 (c) (3) non-profit visual arts museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, study,

display and educational use of the fine arts. In addition to the permanent collection, the Museum is host to several rotating exhibits, gallery talks and receptions, educational programming, master artist workshops and special events throughout the year. Museum Offices are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

OPENING NIGHT – Join us from 5-7 p.m. as we debut our new exhibitions, “Our Flag in American Art: 1935-2026”, presented in collaboration with Harmon-Meek Gallery, and “Bobbi Baugh: Symbols & Storytelling”. Admission to the reception is free for Museum members and $20 for future members.

TOMORROW NIGHT – Two stunning summer exhibitions kick-off with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. Join us for a first look at “Bobbi Baugh: Symbols & Storytelling” and “Our Flag in American Art: 1935-2026”, the latter presented in collaboration with Harmon-Meek Gallery. Bobbi Baugh will also guide a special artist talk from 6:30 - 7 p.m.

Next Friday, June 19, join us for the opening reception of Bobbi Baugh: Symbols & Storytelling with a special gallery talk by the artist. Bobbi Baugh creates textile collage artworks for the exploration of dreams and memories, as well as for storytelling. Her meaningful art pieces combine methods of hand printmaking, direct painting, original photographic transfers, collage construction, and machine stitching for presentation as art quilts.

This is U.S. 🚀 🇺🇸 Explore the creativity and complexity of the American spirit with two new exciting exhibitions opening June 20.

“Bobbi Baugh: Symbols & Storytelling” presents vibrant works of textile collage as narratives of home, personal journey, and memory, while “Our Flag in American Art: 1935-2026” explores the American flag as both symbol and statement through paintings and artworks by acclaimed contemporary artists, presented in collaboration with Harmon-Meek Gallery.
