This week Take Note Colorado, a music education initiative of the Governor’s Office, hosted an event highlighting their work providing musical instruments and instruction to Colorado kids. Isaac Slade (formerly of the Fray) serves as the President and Chair of the Board and Wes Schultz of the Lumineers is Artist Ambassador. Both performed at the event.

✔ Gates open Friday at 12PM (Campers 10AM) | Saturday + Sunday at 10AM

ListenUp, an Inaugural Community Impact Awardee, was co-founded by Steven Weiner, Walt Stinson and MaryKay Stinson in 1972.

They grew into a premium retailer and also branched into commercial services beginning at Ebbets Field (managed by Hall of Famer Chuck Morris).

ListenUp was awarded the Inaugural Community Impact Award on April 8th, 2026 at Colorado Music Hall of Fame's exhibit located in the Colorado Convention Center.

A sneak preview screening of Jill Sobule: Underdog Victorious is coming to Denver on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00 PM at the Mayan Theater.

Filmmaker Tom Ropelewski began this documentary before Jill Sobule’s tragic passing on May 1, 2025. The film features rare concert footage, behind-the-scenes moments, and interviews with Jill’s friends and collaborators, celebrating her remarkable life and legacy.

This is the first-ever public screening of the film, followed by a Q&A.

We’re incredibly grateful to Jay's Valet Parking & Luxury Transportation for their generosity and community spirit!

Colorado Music Hall of Fame was honored to participate in the “Valet It Forward” Kindness Competition which is a creative and impactful way Jay’s Valet supports local nonprofits during March Madness season while shining a spotlight on organizations making a difference.

This year, The Hall was selected as a Bonus Game Winner in the “Defeated by the Largest Point Spread” category following the March 20, 2026 matchup between the Florida Gators and the Texas A&M Panthers, where the Gators secured a 59-point victory.

Executive Director Karen Radman proudly accepted the generous $250 donation on behalf of The Hall. Thank you, Jay’s Valet, for supporting nonprofit organizations in our community!
