This we are celebrating the cultures that make up our communities. 🧡

You may recognize these two pilots Hazel Ying Lee and Margaret Gee; they were a part of the WASPs (Woman Airforce Service Pilots) as the only two Chinese American pilots. Although the WASPs trained and wore uniforms, they were still considered civilians. Both of their efforts during WWII were widely recognized, but they still both faced challenges due to their race.

Both women dedicated their lives to public service and still give inspiration to those who want to take to the skies.
