What a special afternoon with Donna Baker-Breningstall -

Last week, Donna welcomed Access Gallery artists and staff into her beautiful home and gardens for a tour, lunch and time together.

Donna created the Sunny Bug Scholarship in memory of her daughter, Sunia, who was an Access Gallery artist. Through her continued generosity, the scholarship has helped Access Gallery artists and staff develop their skills, explore new opportunities and expand their creative work.

One especially touching moment was seeing a drawing of Sunia with a halo and wings, created by Access Gallery artist Stephen Ray Esparza. Donna loved the piece, and it was a beautiful reminder of the connection Sunia continues to inspire.

Donna, thank you for opening your home and your heart to all of us. You are such a gift to Access Gallery, and we are grateful for all you do.

Old clothes are becoming something new at Access Gallery.

In Upcycled Fashion, Access Gallery artists are exploring how clothing can be reimagined through drawing, cutting, color, fabric and personal style. Led by Studio Facilitator Michael, the class gives each artist room to experiment and develop ideas that are entirely their own.

Thank you to Connie from for sharing her time and expertise with the class.

This is just the beginning. Follow along as the artists take these ideas from early sketches to finished pieces.

Tiny art. Big personality. And only $5.
These little works of art are created by Access Gallery artists for the Art-o-Mat, a vintage cigarette vending machine transformed into a way to collect original art.
Pull the lever and see what you get. Each $5 artwork is original, pocket-sized and completely unique.
Access Gallery has been part of the Art-o-Mat network for more than 10 years, which also gives Access Gallery artists the opportunity to have their work featured in machines across the country.
Stop by the gallery and give it a try. The hardest part might be stopping at just one.
