Artma IS BACK! February 28, 2026. Mark your Calendar!

artma is a unique, funky, and fabulous biennial auction of art, all of which is donated by local, regional, and nationally recognized artists. The proceeds of artma support The Morgan Adams Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and survival rates of children, teens, and young adults diagnosed with cancer.

I’ve been supporting artma for years because I believe in what they do raising funds for pediatric cancer research funding. As a cancer survivor, I know the importance of hope, and knowing there are working forces out there researching for a cure. It is our collaboration and your giving that makes that possible.

This is the piece of art I’ve donated for the event.

Patti with an Eye
Buffalo Medicine Woman's Photographic Story from the Wind River Reservation
Saturday, December 13, 2025
5-8 PM

A long, long time ago, way before once upon a time. Buffalo were wild and wild was home...

Share an evening of storytelling, connection and friendship.
Honoring the Buffalo and the good they ripple through all life and in all directions.
Ten Buffalo were reintroduced to the Wind River in 2016 after being absent for over 130 years. Since, their numbers have risen to over 250 collectively between the Eastern Shoshone
and Northern Arapaho. Beyond being the National Mammal, the Buffalo's importance to both Nations, has, is and will continue to directly affect the health and wealth of the
Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho people for generations to come.

Patti Harris-Baldes (Buffalo Medicine Woman), a Northern Arapaho and Big Pine Paiute Matriarch in training shares her Buffalo story through her 20-year photography journey dubbed, Patti with an Eye. Her story conveys the deep relationship that was also absent until Buffalo physically returned to her life. Her photography gifted much opportunity in the conservation world. Sharing her ReMatriate message through dance, song and speaking engagements, she advocates for Matriarchy, Land & Water Back, Food Sovereignty and Relationship. Patti's perspective of connection to the Buffalo is fed not only through her lens but meeting all her senses through field harvests, learning, and sharing.
Patti is the Director of Wind River Native Advocacy Center, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Native Memory Project, Wind River Community Alliance, Yellowstone Peoples and WyoFile.
