Fun fact: Graycliff was designed so that the lake is visible from almost every room — even the hallways. Frank Lloyd Wright called it the “house of the glass cliff,” and he meant it. Light, water, and horizon were all part of the architecture itself.

Join us this weekend for Graycliff’s Mother’s Day Weekend Open House Tours & Plant Sale! 🌸

Stop by this Saturday or Sunday from 1:30–4pm for Open House Tours, and stay to browse through a thoughtfully curated selection of plants - perfect for gifting or a little something for yourself.

Alongside a variety of perennials, we’re especially excited to offer two historic favorites: peonies and bearded iris, original to Ellen Biddle Shipman’s 1931 Graycliff garden design.

Added bonus: our Head Gardener, Emma, will be on-site Saturday from 11am–2pm to answer your plant questions! Plants are limited, so come early for the best selection.

No reservations needed for Open House tours - just stop by between 1:30-4pm to purchase tickets on-site at the new Visitor Center. Standard and Extended Tours will also be available throughout the weekend (reservations encouraged)

Get ready to step into a century of sunsets 🌞✨ Tickets are ON SALE NOW for our annual Summer Solstice Garden Party on Saturday, June 27 (6–9pm)!

Join us for a magical evening at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Graycliff for a special Centennial celebration inspired by the Martin era. Step into a 1920s-style garden party overlooking Lake Erie and experience an unforgettable evening of curated fare from Ladybird Deli + Bakery, desserts by Quokka’s Sweets, live entertainment by Buffalo Jazz & Swing, a curated silent auction with live paintings by local artists, vintage photo booth + audio guestbook by Buffalove Bus, themed cash bar offerings by the Bubble Bar…and more throughout the evening!
