It's your favorite kind of update - a glaze kiln unload! 🤩

The pottery room has been so busy lately! A bisque and glaze fire were just unloaded, but another glaze fire is about to start already. We love to see it. 😍

Come see us tomorrow at Dover YMCA for the Fall Festival! ✨🎃🍂

The Dover Art League will have a table with info on our kids’ art classes, plus some fun crafts! We’ll be hanging out in Bowser’s Castle, so expect Mario-themed crafts 🍄 But in true DAL fashion, we encourage getting creative and putting your own spin on things! 😁

See you tomorrow @ 5pm! 🧡

Finding your artistic voice starts with understanding the voices that came before you. 🗣️

Art history isn’t just about memorizing names and dates! It’s about discovering the artists who changed the game, what made their work stand out, and how their ideas continue to influence art today. This class is not a lecture‼ Everything is hands-on with an emphasis on experimentation with new techniques. They will use what they learned to explore their own unique artistic style and further develop their art practice. 🎨✨

🚨Class starts THIS Saturday and registration is open until Friday afternoon. So grab your spot now and don't miss this special class. 🤩

You don’t have to be good at art to enjoy making it. 💛📓

In this four-week art journaling class, you’ll experiment with collage, mark making, bilateral drawing, intuitive writing, and more. There’s no artistic experience needed and no finished product to live up to. Just approachable techniques, room to experiment, and permission to make art for the sake of making it.

✨ Give yourself a little creative breathing room. You might be surprised how good it feels! Come as you are. Your inner critic can sit this one out. 😉

📢Attention Pottery People‼

The bisque shelf is overflowing with unclaimed pottery! We have organized it by initials, so please make sure you have picked up all your pieces. Even if you think you don't have something, please stop by and check! It's easy to miss with the bisque-ware.

You have 1 week before it gets adopted by the DAL. 🤪😁
