📸✨ Step back into 19th-century Dover at CCM! Join us on Friday, Feb. 6, from 6–8 p.m. for a free opening reception of “Footprints in Time,” a historical photography exhibit in CCM's Gallery.

In partnership with the Dover Historical Society and Dover College Promise Program, CCM's exhibit features restored glass negative images from the late 1800s capturing life, architecture and landscapes from Dover and across Morris County. Interpretive posters and historic artifacts bring these rare photographs, and the stories behind them, to life. All are welcome!

After months of preparation, we are proud to share a project that is truly grounded in community, history, and student engagement.

Footprints in Time is a collaborative photography exhibit hosted at County College of Morris, created in partnership with the Dover Area Historical Society and the Dover College Promise Program. The exhibit features historic glass-negative photographs from the late 1800s that document the early story of Dover, preserved and brought to life through a collective effort.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the role the students played throughout the process. Through hands-on preparation and direct collaboration with faculty and community partners, students played an active role as contributors to something lasting.
