Across America 2026

We are thrilled to announce that The Art Center will be featured in the upcoming AAA Explorer Guide Summer Edition (June–September)!

As part of this exciting opportunity and expanded exposure, we are excited to announce that Across America 2026 will now welcome artists working in all mediums accepted, while continuing to celebrate the original theme of Across America.

Originally launched as a national photography exhibition, Across America 2026 has grown into a broader creative showcase inviting artists to explore and interpret the spirit, landscapes, culture, people, architecture, history, and visual stories of America through their own artistic voice and medium.

This exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity, beauty, energy, and complexity of America through art while showcasing the incredible creativity of artists from across the country. We would love to include artists working in all forms of media and make this exhibition a dynamic and inspiring representation of contemporary American art.

Submission Deadline: June 14, 2026
Exhibition Dates: July 13 – August 31, 2026

What an amazing day celebrating our 1st Spring Open Studios at The Art Center & The Loft!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to support the arts, visit the studios, enjoy the music, and spend the day with our incredible artistic community. The energy throughout both floors was absolutely wonderful!

We are so grateful to all of the participating artists, musicians, visiting artists, and artsy friends who made this such a successful and memorable event. I couldn’t be more proud of all of the artists who participated and helped bring so much creativity and inspiration to the day. The Art Center, in collaboration with the New Hampshire Art Association, proudly presents Creme de la Creme, a Members’ Exhibition showcasing one of the largest collaborative exhibitions ever hosted between the two organizations.

Featuring over 150 works of art by more than 100 artists from across New England, Creme de la Creme transforms the entire gallery into a vibrant celebration of creativity, artistic excellence, and contemporary expression.

The exhibition opens May 11 and runs through the end of June at The Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire. The public is invited to attend an Artist Reception on Saturday, June 6, from 6–9 PM.

This landmark exhibition features an extraordinary range of artwork including painting, photography, mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, abstraction, figurative work, collage, installation art, and contemporary pop art inspired works. Visitors will experience bold color, striking compositions, layered textures, and dynamic visual storytelling throughout the galleries.

From contemporary geometric abstraction and expressive figurative painting to vibrant pop inspired portraiture and fashion influenced contemporary works, Creme de la Creme highlights the incredible diversity and talent of New England’s artistic community.

The Art Center has dedicated its entire gallery space to this immersive exhibition featuring both emerging and established artists from throughout the region.
