The buildings were old, our cooking facilities were very limited. When the health inspector made his rounds he ate at The Downsville Coffee House every time I think. We had people from all over the world that ate there. People told us our Philly Beef was better than they could get in Philly. I made the best malts you could get, Dianne's pies were second to none. My cookies were written up as the best by the Eau Claire food critics. I would like to take this opportunity to again thank all of the wonderful people who enjoyed coming into the place to dine and to visit. It's been over ten years now since we closed for the last time and my heart is still full of gratitude for each of your lives. ❤️❤️
