Dubuque Museum of Art Established in 1874, the Dubuque Museum of Art is the oldest cultural organization in Iowa. The collection includes significant works by Grant Wood, Edward S.

The Dubuque Museum of Art’s permanent collection focuses on 20th century American art with an emphasis on American Regionalism. The Museum’s priority is to collect and exhibit works by regional artists recognized at the national, regional, and local levels. Curtis, and John Vachon. Local artists represented in the collection include Francesco Licciardi, Dorothy Rossiter, Mauricio Lasansky, and Arthur Geisert.

High school students: interested in art, the environment, and using your voice? Join this FREE 6-week workshop exploring environmental issues through field trips, conversations, and hands-on artmaking.
