Ducktown Basin Museum

Ducktown Basin Museum The museum is located on the site of Tennessee Copper Company's old Burra Burra Mine, which consists of 16 historic structures dating from the early 1900s.

The former mine office now houses the museum's collection of records, photographs, and artifacts. 150 years of history, in about an hour. Come take a short but fascinating journey through a century and a half of copper mining and everyday life in the historic Copper Basin.

The museum will be offering free admission to all veterans on Monday, May 29, 2023 in honor of Memorial Day.
