We are located on Main Street in Historic Downtown Duluth, GA. The gallery was created by the artistic husband and wife team of Pam and Larry Smith.
2 Smith Art Gallery is nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Duluth.
Located on the corner of the Mathias Building on Main Street. The gallery was created by the artistic husband and wife team of Pam and Larry Smith. From 2004 to 2014 Larry and Pam have shown their work at juried art shows all over the country. Larry’s work has been featured in select galleries, Art Collector Magazine and is in the home of many private art collectors. In the past eight years, Pam and Larry have received various awards, and made friends with some of the best fine artists in the country — many who are featured in 2 Smith Art Gallery. Larry paints impressionistic landscapes and Pam excells in oil portraits and figurative paintings. In addition to their 2-D work, 2 Smith Art Gallery features a variety of paintings, watercolors, one-of-a-kind wooden bowls and boxes, metal and bronze sculpts, clay and more.2 Smith Art Gallery is full of original paintings including works from regionally known artists including painters Jon Smith, Li Wang, Rodgers Naylor and Bert Beirne. We have wonderful wood-turned bowls from Spike Cloninger and wood sculptures by Louis Gonzalez. For the past seven years, Larry and Pam have become one of Atlanta’s premier teaching pair. Together they help teach beginners and experienced artists how to develop their skills in oil painting. In 2014 they enrolled over 150 students in their classes. With a little help and lots of encouragement, our students fast learning how to improve their painting skills. Before joining forces as artists and teachers, Larry and Pam were partners for 20 years in a successful Atlanta advertising agency.
