Today's highlighted artist works in the medium of medicinal foods. As Mama Z Shaman puts it, "I regularly express my inner artist with chocolate! Medicinal Mushrooms like Lion's Mane (Cognitive), Reishi (Nature's Xanax & healer), Turkey Tail (cancer caring and healing), Cordyceps Militaris (energy & immune), Mesima, and blends that I can infuse into beautiful macaroons, chocolate pieces, bars, truffles infused with hazelnut butter, and sweetened with pure maple syrup, and/or dates, they are delicious, safe to eat and healthy!" She'll be offering samples of some of her chocolates.

"For 38 years I have been in business helping people to achieve wellness goals, including reversing disease, mentally, emotionally, physically, and, spiritually. My m**hod, or, my art, is using a combination of scientific and intuitive ways to help people to assess the original and real, as well as many root causatives to their health issues. My "order of operations" (the math!) over the years is to gather and help the client to form their own assessment, to stabilize (meaning their overall energy, heart, brain, and function), detoxify where necessary, and heal!

I utilize several forms of testing, some of which many have never heard of but are simply amazing and painless, easy to use, affordable as well as distance friendly. The HTMA & Consult is only $250 total and when ordered is mailed to your home, easy to do in 5 minutes and the lab will have a tissue sample and we will have a patient report providing a plethora of deep-level insights!

As an Original Medicine Woman, I developed throughout my life as a Shaman. My business moved from Santa Cruz, CA my home of 42 years, and my son and I moved to Cloquet, MN in 2002 where I was licensed and set up professional space in February of 2003. My doors were open until the Pandemic provided bodywork on the table, wellness, and deep-level intuitive and spiritual guidance. I also taught at Carlton County Community Education, 14 classes that were well received by the community in food as medicine, detoxification, healing, even bringing in Duluth's former compounding pharmacist Joe Mees and a local Naturopath. More recently, in 2020 I began and finished a Raw Plant-Based (allergy-free food) Chef Certification virtually making over 50 recipes with beautiful and, tasty cakes, truffles, muffins (raw dehydrated), and nut butter, and a lot more! All without refined sugar, wheat, eggs, dairy, artificial colorants, and stabilizers that cause so much gut and skin distress and discomfort.

In 2017 I wrote and published "Detox & Heal Your Thyroid"; thyroid issues are very high here despite "testing," as we reside in a "Goiter Belt," and that contributes to a higher alcohol addiction rate, depression, anxiety, and addiction. I 'lost' my only child who was 24 at the end of 2019 after four really tough years of opioid addiction following a skiing accident where Zahwa broke his collar bone and had major surgery. I am highly aware of addiction and the opioid crisis today as well as the problems with m**h and other substances."
