Introducing the New Central Hall - Dunkirk: A Renovation Project for Chautauqua County!

Hey there, friends! I’m William Haskas, your neighborly Executive Director of Central Hall-Dunkirk. Guess what? Our beloved Adams Art Gallery is getting a fabulous makeover!

In just half a year, we’ve gathered a whopping $1.3 million to spruce up our space, all thanks to the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative. But it’s not just about a fresh coat of paint; we’re on a mission to create a buzzing hub for events that’ll keep our community spirit soaring all year round.

And here’s the cherry on top: we’re teaming up with Kids at Promise to fuel our youngsters with sports and learning opportunities.

We’re on an exciting journey, and we’d love for you to be a part of it. Your support means the world to us, and together, we can make Central Hall a place where dreams take flight. So, come on over, check out our shiny new website and page, and let’s make some magic happen!

This letter is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for roofing services at the ADAMS, managed by Access to the Arts.

Background: Access to the Arts, a non-profit art organization, manages the ADAMS to provide cultural programming to youth, student, adult and senior neighborhood communities. The ADAMS is located at 600 Central Ave. Dunkirk, NY and Access to the Arts is committed to ensuring everyone in the Dunkirk and Fredonia communities, as well as the communities of Western New York would have access to the arts. The ADAMS supports the creative economy that will advance the arts, tourism, community participation, and regional economic redevelopment. Since opening the doors on July 21, 2018, the ADAMS has offered cultural programming to the youth, student, adult and senior neighborhood communities by hosting over 35 public events attracting about 1,625 visitors.

Hello Everyone, we hope you are staying healthy during this challenging time. It is difficult to ask for help right now with everyone struggling, but the ADAMS is facing foreclosure. Given how far the ADAMS has come, we now must overcome our greatest challenge yet, payment on a hidden $13,000 back tax bill owed to Chautauqua County. A debt we unknowingly inherited from the previous management. So far we raised $11,000 in 1 week! To reach our goal we have a matching donation in place - if 50 friends donate $20 your $1,000 will be matched and we will reach our goal!!! Please click on the paypal link here - and help Save the ADAMS:
