Sharron Parker / Handmade Felt Handmade Felt Artist She continued her study in textiles with classes at Penland School of Crafts, where she has returned to teach workshops in feltmaking.

Sharron Parker received an undergraduate degree from Duke University and a masters degree from UNC-Greensboro, studying education, art, and interior design. Her work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and, under the Art in Embassies Program, has recently been exhibited in Turkmenistan and Armenia. Learn feltmaking -- a Stone Age technique -- in France's Dordogne Valley, with cave paintings nearby. June 17 I'll teach a workshop at Filature de Belves (a 15th century wool mill), which will have a show of my pieces based on photos from medieval sites nearby.
