Today we are so grateful to the incredible line crews and utility workers that spent the weekend braving the winter storm to keep our communities powered and safe. Your dedication, long hours, and willingness to work in the harshest conditions don’t go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to keep the lights on when we need it most.

We are thrilled to be officially announcing another exciting project milestone today. Our transformative 505MWdc Hanson Solar project has reached financial close and construction is underway!

This project is already contributing to the community’s economy, creating construction jobs and, when complete, will provide more than $80 million in local tax revenue while delivering much-needed power to the ERCOT grid.

Thank you to our financing partners, MUFG, SMBC, our EPC partner, TIC - The Industrial Company, and our offtaker, Meta for helping us bring this incredible project to the state of Texas.

We were honored to host a wonderful group of veterans yesterday for a networking event at our Durham, North Carolina office in partnership with Project Vanguard.

“Seeing all these veterans together reminded me why I’m a proud member of Project Vanguard. It’s about more than jobs or networking. It’s about community, purpose, and service after service. The same grit and teamwork that carried us in uniform are the same traits driving the clean energy future,” said Greg Gebhardt, Director of Government Affairs at Cypress Creek and Lieutenant Colonel, US Army Reserve. “I’m proud that Cypress Creek Renewables is helping create a space where veterans can continue to lead, build, and power what’s next.”

We’re excited to share a major project milestone today as we announce financial close on our Sundance Solar and Energy Storage project in Elbert County, Colorado!

This hybrid site combines 75MWac of solar with 50MW / 200MWh of battery storage, and once operational, it will power around 25,000 homes across the CORE Electric Cooperative system.

And it is more than just energy. Sundance is expected to create up to 250 construction jobs, generate over $9.5 million in local tax revenue, and invest $300,000 directly into the Elbert County community through a locally guided working group.

We’re grateful to CORE Electric Cooperative, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., and our financial partners for helping bring this project to life. Commercial operation is targeted for late 2026, and we look forward to the long-term impact this will have on Colorado’s energy future.

🌞 Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a site tour at our Bullock Solar facility in Manson, North Carolina for local county officials, planners, and community members. The visit was part of a workshop organized by the Carolinas Development Assistance and Siting Hub (DASH).

It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase how solar energy benefits communities—through education, open dialogue, and a firsthand look at a beautiful clean energy site.

A sincere thank you to the NC Clean Energy Technology Center, Center for Energy Education, and all our attendees for making the day so insightful, collaborative, and inspiring!

The certificates have all been handed out and we are so proud to share that we were able to award $115,000 to graduating high school seniors this year through our Energizing Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship program.

Awards were presented to students in 25 different counties across the country where we own, operate or are developing projects. We are honored to be able to make a difference in these communities and aid in the continuing education of the bright young people who will lead us into the future.

As part of the application process each year, students submit a short video responding to the question, “How does renewable energy affect your future?” This year’s responses were creative and passionate and we have no doubt these recent high school graduates are going far.
