Dear Friends and Patrons,
We wanted to take a moment to share why Bear Valley Gallery has been closed in recent months. Over the past two years, our family has faced significant challenges. As many of you know, Frank was diagnosed with cancer, underwent radiation treatments, and ultimately had to undergo a leg amputation. Just as we were beginning to return to some sense of normalcy, we received more disheartening news.
This past fall, Linda was diagnosed with two types of cancer. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has a long road of treatment ahead. These trials have understandably kept us from being able to open the Gallery as regularly as we would like.
We deeply miss seeing all of you at the Gallery. It has always been a source of joy for us to meet fascinating visitors, connect with our wonderful neighbors here in Sullivan County, and share our passion for art. We remain hopeful and faithful that Linda’s health will improve, allowing us to once again open Bear Valley Gallery on a more consistent basis.
Painting continues to be our passion! While we haven’t been able to open the Gallery regularly, we’ve continued creating new oil paintings on canvas, staying inspired by the beauty of this area and the support of our community. We hope to open the Gallery on days when Linda feels well enough and the weather permits. In the meantime, we would love to hear from you! Your support, encouragement, and kind words mean the world to us and keep us motivated during these challenging times.
If you’re interested in purchasing a painting or commissioning a custom piece, please don’t hesitate to call us. We will gladly arrange a time to meet and open the Gallery just for you.
Thank you for your continued support, love, and understanding. We are so grateful to live in this beautiful community surrounded by such wonderful people. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year, and we look forward to brighter days ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Frank & Linda
