In a year of shared milestones, the Buffalo Society of Artists marks its 135th anniversary while Meibohm Fine Arts celebrates 125 years of family stewardship in the arts.
We are proud to present the Society’s beloved Thumb Box Exhibition, a tradition dating back to the early 1900’s. Inspired by the compact wooden paint boxes artists once carried into the field, the exhibition is devoted to small works — no larger than 9” x 12”.
Featuring 48 juried artists and 76 works, the show highlights the remarkable diversity and vitality of Western New York’s artistic community, proving that great art need not be grand in scale.
