There’s something truly special about Frog and Toad. Beneath the laughter, catchy songs, and charming characters is a story about friendship, kindness, patience, and simply showing up for one another. In a world that can often feel rushed and divided, this gentle little musical reminds us of the beauty of slowing down, caring for our neighbors, and finding joy in everyday moments.

That’s exactly why the Historical Society felt this production was such a meaningful one to bring to our community. Community theater has a way of connecting generations, creating memories, and reminding us that stories still matter. Frog and Toad may be small creatures, but their message is timeless.

We are so proud of this wonderful cast and grateful to everyone who has helped bring this sweet production to life. We can’t wait to share it with all of you!

The East Bloomfield Historical Society is excited to partner with the Bloomfield Public Library for a Historic Walking Tour on Saturday July 11th. Starting at 10am, we'll meet at the Historical Society Academy building (8 South Ave) and head out. The tour will highlight significant landmarks and historical sites throughout the town. We're continuing the shout outs to our 6th Annual Car Show vendors! Sap Tap Farms: A first-generation farm committed to producing high-quality, sustainably raised products right here in Bloomfield. Their handcrafted offerings include pure maple syrup, maple candies, and raw honey, along with natural wood pellets made from sheep’s wool that help improve soil fertility for up to six months. Made from 100% natural wool fibers, out their pellets improve soil structure, promoting better aeration and drainage. This enhances root development and overall plant health.

What a wonderful Memorial Day in our community! 🇺🇸

We were so proud to see some of the cast of Frog and Toad (and some siblings) bring smiles to the parade route while in the float. Thank you to everyone who helped create and organize the float,. Your creativity and enthusiasm made the day so special.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the members and volunteers of the Historical Society for hosting such a lovely bake sale and for all the work you do to preserve and celebrate our local history.

And finally, thank you to our community for coming out, supporting local events, and sharing in this meaningful Memorial Day tradition. We are grateful to be part of such a caring and spirited town.

Saturday 6/20 at 7pm: 4 tickets available online, 10 in person
Friday 6/26: 0 tickets available online, 5 in person
