I didn't quite like the painting I posted yesterday so I redid it today and like it much better. This one has much more depth and I moved the bud vase to the right so it wouldn't make an awkward angle with the copper container. I think (hope!) it's much improved...

New/In Progress: "Morning Glory" - 12" x 16" oil on linen mounted panel. (2026) This work is in progress; the background looks too flat and the vase has flowers (sunflower & pink flowers) but I'm not sure I want to detract from the Morning Glories...suggestions welcome!
