When we launched Reclaim Osage in 2023, the goal felt almost impossible. It still feels impossible. We started at $407K. Today, we are down to $328K — meaning together we’ve raised nearly $80,000 toward reclaiming Osage and preserving our sacred history.

We still have such a long way to go, but every donation, every share, every conversation, and every ounce of support moves us closer.

Thank you for believing in this mission and continuing to stand with us. We want our house back fully, not partially. Please donate. Please share.

Delisha should still be alive. She should not have been bombed to death. She should not have been shot to death. She should not have been burned to death. She should not have been buried in an unmarked grave. Her remains should not have been stolen by Penn Museum.

Help me build a memorial to remember her and all the other people killed in the MOVE bombing.

This May 13th marks 41 years since the bombing of MOVE.

There should never come a day that we forget about the MOVE Bombing.

The pain, the loss, and the injustice deserve to be remembered — not just in history books, podcasts and documentaries, but in our hearts and actions.

Please join us on May 13th as we gather in remembrance, in honor, and in solidarity.

the same issues MOVE was confronting back then are the same ones we’re dealing with today.

Police violence. Families being pushed out of their homes. Communities under pressure. People punished for telling the truth.

And forty years later, we are still living with the damage.

Today, I sent out emails to bring people together for the MOVE Day 5K, because remembering isn’t enough—we have to act. Healing takes effort. Justice takes participation.

Take a look at the MOVE Day 5K T-shirt mockup. Every step we run is about honoring the eleven lives lost, especially the five children, and standing up for the generations still affected.

If you believe history matters, register to run.
If you care about community, register to run.
If you want to be part of something that remembers and rebuilds, register to run. MikeAfricaJr.com

We run so they are never forgotten.

“On A Move” speaks exactly to the times we are in at this very moment. This isn’t just a book. It’s a warning. It’s a mirror held up to America.
family was targeted, their home bombed by police, and eleven of their loved ones—including five children—were murdered in broad daylight by the very people sworn to protect life.
They were bombed for protesting. For organizing. For living free. This book is a blueprint. A warning. And a call to action.
Read On A Move to understand the past they tried to bury. Read it to understand the stakes of this moment. Read it because the war on truth, on protest, on Black life never stopped—it just changed tactics.
Don’t just read it. Feel it. Share it. Stand with it.

This Memorial Day, while many remember those who served in uniform, I’m thinking about my great uncle, John Africa — a revolutionary whose dedication to freedom and liberation was so powerful, the government saw him and anyone under his leadership as a threat.

When they couldn’t silence him — they dropped a bomb on him. On American soil. In a Black neighborhood. In 1985. They killed 11 people, including 5 children, and burned down an entire block in Philadelphia. Never before or since has the U.S. government dropped a bomb on its own citizens in this way.

John Africa wasn’t in the military at that time but he was in a war — a war for truth, for life. He fought against oppression with conviction and clarity. And for that, they murdered him.

For me this Memorial Day is for him.

Rest in power, Uncle. Your legacy lives on.

Long Live John Africa

MOVE Day 5K – Running is Essential🏃🏿‍♂️

On May 9, 2026, we take to the streets for the inaugural MOVE Day 5K — not just for fitness, but for justice.

In honor of the lives stolen in the MOVE bombing, we are running.
For families everywhere impacted by state violence, we are running.
For truth, healing, and legacy, we are running.

MOVE didn’t start out fighting the system with fists in the air — we started by running miles, eating raw foods, and choosing health as a revolutionary act.

John Africa believed that the most powerful resistance begins with the revolution of self, discipline, unity, and care for the mind and body.

Now, we carry that spirit forward.
We run for justice.
We run for those who can’t.
We run for change.
We run for MOVE children that can no longer run.

Come run with us.
