The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd. East Liverpool, will be open this weekend, May 30 and 31, from 1 - 5 each day for visitors. It is going to be a beautiful weekend to come out to Beaver Creek State Park for a picnic or a hike, and fit in a visit to the Center! Hope to see you this weekend!

Mark this on your calendars!!
Coming up at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd., East Liverpool, on Sunday, June 7 from 10 - noon. Homing Pigeons for Beginners. This interesting program is suitable for all ages and anyone who would like to learn how pigeons have been used in the past for sending messages and how they are still used today for racing events.

Join Shawn Nelson under the pavilion as he talks about how to raise and race homing pigeons. Shawn has some beautiful birds with a variety of colors and markings. He will have live birds to show and will release some birds at the end of the program. This is an awesome thing to watch as they birds fly out, circle in the sky, and then head for his house over the hills!

Literature will be available for how to be successful with this hobby, but it is a program all can enjoy. There will also be a free raffle for kids and beginners where the winner will receive a pair of pigeons to raise for racing and Shawn will help get it all set up.

You don't want to miss this wonderful program!

The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd, East Liverpool, will be open this weekend, May 23 and 24, from 1 - 5 for visitors. Looks like rain this weekend, but it will be dry in the Wildlife Center. You can try your hand at our migration Plinko board and check out the bird migration display. Come for a visit!

On Sunday, May 17, the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd., East Liverpool, will be open for visitors from 1 - 5. You can stop by for a visit after having pancakes down in the park, or during the day after learning about Bigfoot down in the pioneer village! Our Logan's Loop scavenger hunt will be going on. Maybe you will see Bigfoot??! Kids can also make pine cone bird feeders under the pavilion. You can bring your binoculars or cameras and see what you can find out in nature!

The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd., East Liverpool, will be open this weekend, May 16 and 17 from 1 - 5 each day for visitors. You can see all the amazing displays, visit the live snakes and turtles, and watch our live bee hive.

On Sunday, May 17, kids can join some of our volunteers under the pavilion and make a pinecone bird feeder. Families can also do the scavenger hunt on Logan's Loop trail. Stop at the desk to get your scavenger hunt list.

Looking for a fun family activity for this Mother's Day weekend? Come visit us at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool. We are open (and it is dry inside if raining!) on Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10, from 1 - 5 each day. Admission is free, but we sincerely appreciate donations. We are operated entirely by volunteers and get no state money. We depend on donations, grants, and gift shop sales to operate and offer all the programs and events. Come meet some of our awesome volunteers and enjoy the displays!

The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, located at 12798 Echo Dell Rd, East Liverpool, will be open this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10, from 1 - 5 each day for visitors. On Sunday, May 10 you can look under our microscopes and see some spring plants parts, pollen, and maybe an insect, too! Things look different when they are magnified 200 times or more! You can also enjoy our garden scavenger hunt around the building, see all the displays, and visit our bees, snakes, and turtles. There is also a wonderful fish mount display. Come out and visit us!!

The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd., East Liverpool, will be open today, Sunday May 3, from 1 - 5 for visitors. From 2 - 3 you can join Volunteer Jason Short for a presentation under the pavilion - 250 Years of Birding in America. The basket raffles will continue today with drawings at 4:30. Winners need not be present.

Yesterday was the start of our opening weekend and was enjoyed by all - even if it was a cold day! Raptor Hallow did a great program!

Come out for a visit today and see all our displays, get your raffle tickets, and meet our volunteers.

Squirrel Taxidermy Class 2027 Raffle - Would you like to win a guaranteed spot in the March 2027 class - all expenses covered AND a squirrel provided? If so, get your raffle tickets in the gift shop at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center, 12798 Echo Dell Rd., East Liverpool when the Center is open on the weekends from 1 - 5. The cost of the tickets is $5 each or 6/$20. The winner will have their choice of one spot in one of the class sessions in March!! Drawing will be on Sunday, October 4 at 4:00.
