In the conveyance of assimilating unlike shapes to the adherence of one or the other - it’s essential to determine the shape that should play the dominant role - for example this early nineteenth century pedestal sink - and it’s nemesis - the existing counter protruding into its location - had I made the error of thinking that the counter played the dominant role - and that the sink must be altered to assume the shape of the counter - first off, it would have been extremely difficult ( as that is cast iron under it’s porcelain veneer )……and secondly having the basin compromised- as it could not hold water now - and, of course - having to bear the weight of being that as***le carpenter- who can’t tell s**t from Shinola……… have a peaceful evening - lord knows I tried - but there’s too much scaly - wag about - and I’ll find out what and who in the morning…………peace.
