What is this?! We got this the other day and can't seem to figure out what it is. That little blade on the top is like a hacksaw blade. Any ideas? Let us know!

It's obvious that East Windsor, South Windsor, and Windsor Locks were all once part of Windsor. But did you know that towns as far afield as Litchfield, Colebrook, and Hebron also have Windsor origins? Depending on your definition of the term, up to 23 Connecticut towns can be considered "daughters" of Windsor, in that they were founded on land that has some direct connection to the town, or by people who previously called Windsor home.

The article linked in the comments (published by the Descendants of the Founders of Ancient Windsor, Inc.), explores the concept of daughter towns and gives an overview behind the founding of each of Windsor's daughter towns. Maybe the town that you live in was once a part of Windsor!
