I adore this black tray with an ornate border. The silver plate that was originally on it was very worn so it was the perfect candidate for resurfacing with my process. Food safe! I will be back at the shows in Edgartown on Tuesday and Chilmark on Wednesday and Saturday this week.

A stirrup cup is a final farewell drink given to a guest, specifically a rider on horseback, just as they are leaving and have their feet in the stirrups. The term also refers to the special cup holding the drink, which has deep roots in equestrian and hunting traditions. I have resurfaced this one in black enamel.
