An idea is brewing…literally, I hope it’s never too late to paint a coffee lovers theme. It’s fun and it’s cute. I’ve been struggling with ideas and i found myself starting paintings and halfway finishing them…and it had me worried but I need to accept that even I have failed moments. The key is your imagination and your heart. Not copycatting your painting style to match someone elses. That’s a mistake that I make time to time. Or also painting to make it look realistic is better, that’s not always the truth. Well, stay tuned and stay warm!

Working on ideas for Christmas painting classes. I appreciate your suggestions because i wanted to create something that was my style and not your typical snowman or something that has been commonly used as inspiration. There’s something about Cardinals and snow that go extremely well together. I’m struggling a little with finding my inspiration again after I had my daughter I almost completely stopped painting. Part of it was the time it took to construct a high quality painting and then having distractions through the day. I must have a clear mind when I paint and I must be in a good mood to create something that I or someone else would cherish in their home. Overcoming post partum depression was a huge factor why I stopped painting for a long time. Trying to find the warmth of excitement that comes with teaching myself and others again.

It’s been forever since I last taught anything I have been busy with work and the baby and side business that I have. I love fall it’s my favorite time to take walks and go out and about 😊🎃 so don’t wait too long I usually get filled up quickly!

Last night we had a participant whom hadn’t painted since he was in grade school! And he completed his tower and completed his canvas with confidence! Very impressive! Everyone did great with their towers and I always felt like demonstrating different techniques to make painting easier. And there were new tools in this class such as the sea sponge to create an effortless foliage on our trees! 😊🇫🇷❤️
