This sweet family stopped by the Gallery today to get their Voices and Votes passport stamped. Just a few more days to participate in this event and to see the America the Beautiful art show on display at the Gallery.

For more information on Voices and Votes, the community wide partnership lead by Georgia Writers Museum and The Old School History Museum, visit their website > https://www.georgiawritersmuseum.org/voices-and-votes/

Putnam County is the first of only six towns in Georgia to receive this traveling Smithsonian exhibit designed to celebrate, educate, and inspire attendees. And it is moving on to the next location soon! The exhibit located at the Putnam County Administration Building, highlights the history of democracy in America and how voices (advocacy and protest) and votes have shaped our county. This exhibit comes to Georgia during the 250th birthday of the United States—America250.

The 10th Annual Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes kicked off yesterday with the PHOTO SELECTION!

Since 2017, The Artisans Village Guild has collaborated with the local photo club, now known as Lake Country Photography Club. The photographers bring stunning photographs to the May Guild meeting, and member artists can select 1 or 2 photos. The artists then have several months to create art inspired by those photographs in any medium or style of their choosing. In September the art is beatifully displayed next to the photograph for a stunning side-by-side show of amazing photos & creative, one-of-a-kind works of art. Both the photographs and art are for sale. Stay tuned for details!!
