Friends of Art SIUE

Friends of Art SIUE We are a committee through SIUE that supports art students in a variety of ways. We are not-for-profit and self-supporting.

FOA was organized in 1977 in cooperation with the SIUE Department of Art & Design and the SIUE Foundation. Activities are coordinated by a board of area people. Probably the group's biggest event, certainly the biggest fund-raiser, is the art auction. Artworks and other appropriate "auctionables" are donated by university students, faculty and alumni, plus area art galleries and other businesses,

and anyone who cares to donate. Supporting art and design activities is what Friends of Art is all about. Throughout the school year we sponsor art scholarships, awards for young artists, special art shows of national prominence, and a variety of workshops.

The Friends of Art is a long-standing organization that is proud to support the incredible students at SIUE in many ways. By serving on the board you have the opportunity to:
