Proud to represent the wildly talented Paul Bobrowitz at our gallery. We have suns and moons and much more, but we also recommend you visit his gallery/studio/yard in Colgate, WI!

Berit Hines creates alluring, hand-built stoneware vessels that blur the boundaries between pottery and sculpture. Her forms bend, twist and move, revealing unexpected shapes from different viewpoints. Using sgraffito and mishima surface decoration, she creates intricate patterns and carved textures.

Berit is inspired by nature, the human body, traditional pottery, fine art, and more. A playful post-modern current runs through her work, inviting viewers to see the functional vessel in new and unexpected ways.

Born in Bremen, Germany, Berit earned her BFA in Ceramics from the Royal Academy for Art and Design in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. After working as a studio artist and ceramics teacher in Europe, she moved to the United States and lived in Wisconsin for 25 years. She is now a Studio Artist at the Morean Center for Clay in St. Petersburg, Florida, and exhibits her work nationally.

Berit Hines ceramic works are coveted by collectors across the country.

We are excited to represent Deb Mortl's jewelry. Original designs often times with finds from the beach. "My work moves between two tides, painting and making beach glass jewelry. Both begin with fragments - of color, of memory, of place - and evolve into something whole. I am drawn to what is shaped over time, whether it’s a brushstroke layered and reworked on canvas or a piece of glass softened by years in water.
My jewelry practice is an extension of this philosophy; I approach my jewelry making as a collaboration with the materials I find. I’m interested in how time alters objects, how art can hold both fragility and strength in its transformation."
