Breaking up the ground on the potato patch. Planted them almost 3 weeks ago, got rain for the next week. Made the ground like concrete.

The taters are starting to peek thru in places.

I know..... suppose to plant taters on Good Friday. But we want to demonstrate digging them up last weekend in September, during Old Iron Show with horse drawn potato plow.

Vintage vehicle farm team class at the Royal KC Draft Horse Show. Tony Garrett and Josh Winkler got 2nd driving 4 abreast on the road grader. My buddy Branden Harp got 1st pulling a McCormick Deering Daisy Reaper. The reaper was used for cutting wheat that would be gathered and taken to a threshing machine.

Planted the potatoes on May 14th. We will harvest them during Old Iron Show in September.

Thanks to everyone who helped.

We have 14 rows, wow, should have alot of taters lol!!!

Does anybody know where we can find track and hangers for stall doors, preferably Loudens?

Another noteworthy item has found it's new home at our museum. It's a Moline gang plow, previous owner was Terry McElhinney. Terry purchased this plow from JW Harris (who was a horse puller for many moons)

Of all our antique plows, they are all usable and plow great. We have the following sulky plows, Rock Island, Oliver, John Deere, and Emmerson.

Gang plows (also know as 2 bottom), John Deere, and Moline.

3 bottom plow is a John Deere.
