Hello Eldred Area Free Library Patrons!

For many years, the library has been open on Thursdays and Fridays from 11am-4:30pm. One of the many things we have observed during this time is an influx of patrons on Thursdays and not many on Fridays. This could be due to many things, including sports, family activities, and holidays; the weather is getting to be so nice, after all! To better utilize the library’s available hours, we have been discussing among the board members and library staff that it may benefit the community better to have the EAFL open on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the same hours, instead of Thursdays and Fridays. Do you have any questions or suggestions about this change?

Grand Opening Wednesday at 1. Come on down to be one of the first to own history; your very own library card from a library in Eldred! This took years in the making. What a special day!
