You can experience more of Next Wave's vibe by making some space for it to exist in your own life. Don't have access to a public space? Invite people over, tell them to bring something they're working on, show off a routine, tell a story or play a song. YOU are all that next wave of dynamic energy. And it is my hope you feel inspired to create spaces for it to coalesce.

All waves are a cycling of energy, forming peaks and troughs, and so it goes we wont be having an art salon in 2014. There are some exciting new art events happening this year, like the Elgin Fringe Festival and the ongoing coolness at Side Street Studio Arts- but most of all: Keep the flame of our creative spirit alive in your own life. Thank you for the great times and I hope we can do it again!

Former Next Wave Artists: A brand new, never used, Wacom Intuos4 drawing tablet has washed ashore with a note that simply said "I love you guys!!!". So, answer the questions in the survey to get entered to win it. Works on MAC and PC. I've done all my digital painting with this same line of tablets, I love them. Perfect for getting started in the wonderful world of digital art and image manipulation. Only artists who have participated in previous salons will be entered in the contest.
